Zoetis Aquaculture colleagues

Zoetis has been named to Newsweek Magazine's America's Most Responsible Companies 2024 list, which recognizes top-performing companies that are making a difference through their environmental, social and corporate governance actions. The company is ranked #51 (out of 600 companies) in its third year on the prestigious Newsweek list. Zoetis ranked in the top 9% of all companies listed and ranked 6th among Health Care & Life Sciences companies on the list.

“It in an honor for Zoetis to be included for the third year in a row among the companies Newsweek Magazine is recognizing for their corporate social responsibility,” said Jeannette Ferran Astorga, Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Communications and Chief Sustainability Officer at Zoetis. “I’m proud of the work our dedicated colleagues do every day to advance sustainability in animal health and support our customers as they care for the animals we depend on.”

In partnership with Statista Inc., Newsweek selected America’s Most Responsible Companies based on publicly available key performance indicators (KPIs) derived from CSR Reports, Sustainability Reports, and other reports as well as an independent survey. The KPIs focused on company performance in the environmental, social, and corporate governance areas, while the independent survey asked U.S. citizens about their perception of company activities related to corporate social responsibility. The final list recognizes the top 600 most responsible companies in the United States, spanning 14 industries.

In March, Zoetis was recognized by Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, as one of the 2023 World’s Most Ethical Companies and the only standalone animal health company included on the list. In September, Zoetis was named by ESG Investing, the world's leading awards celebrating excellence in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) research, ratings, funds and products, as the Best Company for ESG & Sustainability in the Healthcare category. In June, Zoetis shared its 2022 Sustainability Report. The company has committed to sharing updates on its sustainability activities, including progress against its Driven to Care goals, and reporting annually.
